Tuesday & Wednesday after school activities from 3.30pm to 5pm
French class for beginners & for French speakers
The outcome objectives are for beginners to know some French vocabulary, aspects of the French culture and start communicating with simple sentences in French (in introducing themselves, describing the weather, counting, asking questions and answering…).
To achieve those goals we use specific written exercises and games including Cards, boards & French ball games in the outside area.
For the French speakers the aim is to progress in grammar, orthograph, reading and writing and learning and develop knowledge in French History, Art & Music History.
The aim of this class is to enjoy learning French thanks to beautiful easy French songs. Be part of a group and feel the joy of singing together in French. This class can be accompanied by a piano, guitar or ukulele.
Yoga & Meditation (Bilingual) / Not in Term 3
The aim of the Yoga & Meditation class is for the children to take the time to control their breath and try specific body postures (asanas), that provide a range of physical, spiritual and mental relaxation.
Allowing children to be calm, while gaining awareness of their bodies, self-control and discipline. When children practice yoga it increases their confidence, builds concentration and strengthens growing bodies
Arts & Crafts (collage – drawing – decoupage – sewing – macramé – Brazilian bracelet making -cards making - pottery…) Bilingual
Arts and crafts are fun activities for kids. Being colouring with crayons or making miniature statues from clay, folding paper to create fine origami or designing a handmade birthday card, there are several arts and crafts activities, which can enhance the interest of the children and exploit their artistic potential.
The outcome objective is to build the children’s cognitive, physical, and social development.
French Cooking (Patisserie )
